 Actor, producer, writer and comedian Kristen Wiig believes she has more
sides than just comedy. The 40-year old says that it’s time for her to
take on more challenges and is thinking to take-up direction seriously.
The actress expressed that she’s in quest of some more dramatic roles.The ‘Bridesmaids’ star stretched that she has been willing to write and direct much more than she’s done. You have to have some sort of context for a person to register in your brain, and I was introduced to the world as a cast member of SNL (Saturday Night Live). But I`ve always wanted to do dramatic stuff, to write and direct, do a lot of different things." She said. Wig didn’t forget to mention that comedy is where she finds her home and would always enjoy, she said "Comedy is where my heart lies but there`s also something really satisfying about being able to step away with a small crew, become a character and get to know her for a few months at a time." Well we’re sure Kristen Wiig would do as good in Drama as she does in comedy, if only she’s given the right opportunities. |
